Alex Marlowe has never understood why everyone else needs them to choose. Boy. Girl. One or the other. As if seventeen years of being Alex can somehow be reduced to whichever body looks back from the mirror that morning. Alex can physically shift between male and female forms at will. Both are real. Both are theirs. And unfortunately, everyone seems to have an opinion about what that means. Then Jamie Calder crashes into them. Literally. There is coffee involved. Jamie is new, chaotic, incapable of shutting up, and apparently determined to become Alex's problem. He asks stupid questions. Makes worse jokes. Steals Alex's clothes. And somehow becomes the first person in a very long time who doesn't seem interested in deciding which Alex he likes better. Because to Jamie, there has only ever been one. What begins as an inconvenient collision becomes friendship. Friendship becomes something considerably more dangerous. And Alex is about to discover that being truly known doesn't always mean being asked to choose. Sometimes, someone simply looks at you and says: There you are.

A Fictional Memoir of the tradition of a woman playing Peter Pan, which helped me think through my Gender. This NeuroQueer Retellung is appropriate for readers 10 and up, because kids have the RIGHT to read Queer Literature! Since an "Actress" is assumed to be a woman, and Peter Pan is a boy, there is Misgendering in this fanfiction. It was in the tags, but I want to put a clear Trigger Waning. Also, Trigger Warning for the racial slur that calls Indigenous People "Red." I have thoughts... Credit for the Fairy Genders goes to J.M. Barrie My portrayal of Tiger Lily is Anti-Colonial Through a Disability Justice lens. To Sondra Lee, who played Tiger Lily, and saved my life To Lerisssa Fasthorse, who justly restored my lost dignity To Adolph Green, who taught me what makes a monter and what makes a man, is complicated To Jerome Robbins, who challenged my intellect and morality And of course to Mary Martin, who taught me about the "Unusal things you can do"

Hello there, I'm a trans enby boy named Alex. Transgender is an umbrella term used to describe anyone who doesn't always identify as their assigned gender at birth. This book will include tips for trans boys, trans women, genderfluid, Non-binary, demi-girls and demi-boys. And not just tips but also information and facts about being trans to help those who are confused about their gender. If you have any questions feel free to ask or comment and I'll try to answer every question to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please remember that everyone's experience with gender is different so please try to keep hate and negativity at a minimum but please feel free to comment or message me stories of YOUR experience with gender and If I have time I'll make a chapter including your experience (with credit to you of course) because reading peoples experience with gender may just help someone else. I hope this book helps you!

❝ They trained you to serve the empire. But you didn't come to serve. You came to survive. ❞ When your father is conscripted to a war he won't survive, you do the unthinkable-cut your hair, bind your chest, and take his place under a false name. Thrust into the brutal world of military life, you quickly learn that surviving the camp is just as deadly as the battlefield. Then he arrives: Kwon Soonyoung, known as The Tiger of the East-a battle-hardened general with a sharp tongue, sharper blades, and eyes that see far too much. He takes an interest in you. Not quite trust. Not quite suspicion. But enough to make your secret burn hotter than any wound. As war drums echo and empires fall, your path crosses with warriors, spies, and kings disguised as men. Among them, SEVENTEEN-each with blood on their hands and ghosts at their heels-fight beside you, bleed beside you, and remind you what it means to feel in a world that no longer allows it. But how long can you fight with a lie wrapped around your neck before someone pulls the thread? And when Hoshi finally sees you for what you are-not a boy, not a soldier, but you- Will it be mercy he gives? Or a sword?
