UPDATE: I'm no longer working on this story, and I haven't been for a long time. I didn't like where the story was going and the pacing is pretty terrible. I'm done with this, and with writing in general (for now.) I don't have the time or energy to write anything right now. "Ash" follows high school student Ash and best friend Emery as they try to overcome their struggles of being different than the people around them, but are they really that different? As a trans and pansexual member of the LGBTQ+ community, I've gone through a lot that I've never really talked about with the people around me. Some of the events in this story are based off of my personal experiences. This is just something I'm working on in my spare time, and it's far from finished.
