This is an improved fanfic that I wrote when I was in 6th grade. I decided to redo it because I wasn't sure how I felt about the first one, don't worry the whole story plot will be the same, but it will just be a nicer writing.

In this genemau fanfic I have based it on when they are at high school and something happens differently from the original and Aphmau's world is turned upside down! Contains yandere! You have been warned!

Aphmau hasn't really talked since middle school, and is now in high school, and she gets bullied a lot for it, but in reality, it's not from what everybody thinks, they think she's depressed, which she is, but she's not silent from it, she's silent, because a demon lives inside her, not literally, but mentally, it blocks her from talking, because she's scared. Her father put this in her, from him abusing her and then her mother leaving, close after this started. She also thinks it's her fault that her mother left. She's always think about ways she could run off a cliff, or how that knife is right there, she is very suicidal, always thinking of how she could die, and escape this demon. Buts she's never actually tried to kill herself. She's gotten close though. But for some reason the most rude, and mean person in the whole high school notices this, and he is Gene, he notices how she looks dead inside, he actually tries to make her feel good about her self, tries to make her see she's not the person she thinks she is, in threw this they become friends, and Gene slowly drifts from the shadow knights to Aphmau, and they notice this, they become enemys with Aphmau and Gene, and become determined, to make Aphmau feel so bad about herself she kills herself, since that would also hurt Gene since they were so close. Will the remaining shadow knights, Zenix and Sasha, make Aphmau kill herself, or will Aphmau stand up for herself and realize how much potential she has.

*SLOW UPDATES* Aphmau moves into a new neighborhood because her father left Aphmau's mom with 3 kids. Aphmau, Levin, and Malachi. (Malachi and Levin are 13) Aphmau's mom found a better paying job. (Also a reason they moved) Aphmau goes to a new school called Phoenix Drop High where she meets many new people but still misses many of her old friends (they will be made up..probably). Aphmau and her friends go through so much stuff and adventures which grows them closer. (Fantasy, Romance, Drama)

Aphmau is just a girl trying to go through Highschool and complete her studies, yet some people make that hard for her. For instance, you've got her abusive father. Or you've got mean girls like Ivy and her friends. You also have one certain bully named Gene. Gene and the Shadow Knights pick on Aphmau every chance they get. But, when disaster strikes, Aphmau finds herself relating to Gene. So day by day, Aphmau and gene slowly form a bond. It's strange to explain but Aphmau just calls it friendship. She only calls it this because she's too scared to admit her feelings for Gene. Yes. GENE. As in THE Gene. Her bully, and the only person she hates the most at PDH. Well, the only person she loves the most now. [BTW guys, I don't own the pictures I used for my book cover, or the characters owned by Aphmau, full credit goes to the owners of the pictures and also Aphmau.]

I didn't know I was gonna fall for her; but I did. But what if she finds out I lied? (Authors note) IF YOU DO NOT LIKE LEMON DO NOT READ.
