The Legend Reborn is a story I wrote in late 2014 about the Avatar after Korra. After the release of the Legend of Korra follow up comics I went back and added references to the events of the comics but didn't change my story. Following the 2021 announcement of Avatar Studios I decided to share my ideas since it's very possible Bryke could decide to continue the Avatar Cycle and render my story implausible. I hope they instead decide to go backwards (possibly a Kyoshi series) since there are also many other great fan projects that would be rendered implausible by a Korra sequel (notably The Legend of Genji, a project very different from my own but has my respect and admiration). But who am I to disagree with what Mike and Bryan do with their own fantastic universe. She has no explanation as to why or even how she is a dual bender. All she knows is that it has caused her trouble in the past and put a target on her back. She's always stayed safe in the Southern Water Tribe, so how will she fare in the big city when she's sent in to help her uncle, Tenzin, deal with Amon and protect Avatar Korra whilst also overcoming her own traumatising past? She may have realized the error of her ways, but she wasn't going back to the palace of her downfall, and she didn't think she could face her brother again. That changed when fifty years later, her brother's grandson shows up on her porch, searching for the only person he knew can bend lightning - and asking for her to teach him. - A fix-it story about family, siblings, and also includes my headcanon on how Iroh II came to be able to generate lightning in the first place when no one else in the royal family after Azula could.

Nothing has disturbed his course until Iroh crosses path with a young woman chased by both the Police and the Triple Threat Triad on his way back to the ship after attending the famous Lantern Festival of Republic City. I just thought that since we never got to see anything on Izumi, I thought I could make one up. Izumi is this clumsy bookworm who's life is just like every other teenager.
