This book contains the truth, what the government doesn't want you to know. By reading this THEY will come after you. Just... read it. It's good, and it is about a person with wings. Plus, NO ROMANCE. Also, it is kind of like Generation Icarus. Kind of. The main character and many others have wings. There. *Note that I could not find a good cover.

I stared at the TV, my eyes unable to move or blink. I knew what I saw, the world knew. On the screen the news showed a boy falling from an airplane with a lady. On his back there was a parachute but the boy appeared to be having difficulty getting open. Then... Huge wings unfolded from his back and he and the lady glided down. My heart skipped a beat. My name is Jazmine, and this was the first time I ever saw someone else who's like me, someone who has wings. •~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~• So... yeah... This is a fanfiction I made from JLPawley's Generation Icarus. Incase you don't know, it's a story about kids who, all at or around the age of 17, develop and grow wings. They run and hide from these people call Evolutionaries(think I spelled that right. XD) and Angelist. But if you want more info, I suggest you go to her page and read for yourself! By then the pain in my back was too much. As I sat on the ground in the crowded hallway, I began weeping. "Get up, you little freak." Mackenzie ordered. With a final burst of searing pain, something ripped. I nearly passed out from the pain, but then I felt my back loosen, as if something had been freed. I risked a glance behind me and screamed.

The Flight accidentally gets themselves into some trouble after they start molting. Madness ensues. Note: I don't own Generation Icarus. Jess Pawley, however, does.

But, alas, every fandom has at least one of these cliché little buggers. I already write fairly abnormal fanfictions, so I don't really see the point of trying to become "normal" now. Anyways. Kestrel has never had a fairy-tale life, but she's ok with that. She has the best friends anyone could ask for, does fairly well in school, and knows how to keep her sister and the group of populars (read: piranhas) that follow her off her back. Romance has never been on the agenda, until Tyler Owen makes an appearance. And he's interested in... Her? Of course, once things start to fall into place, they also fall apart. Things start to go wrong, fast, and Kess finds herself in the middle of it. And as real life shows, nothing turns out the way it should. With literally no other reason to do this besides trying to fill out the fandom stereotypes, A Generation Icarus High School AU That Nobody Needs or Wants was created. *Waves hands defensively* before you go clicking off this, I feel I should warn you that this does mimic the actions of the actual books. That means the horrible things as well. This cover is definitely lacking in the everything department. I'm well aware.
