The year was 2101. Human explorers had set foot on every planet and moon they could stand on. Governments, corporations, and criminal enterprises raced close behind to claim the unearthly territories for themselves. It was an unforgiving and wild frontier, rife with danger, mystery, and unbridled experimentation far from any ethical jurisdiction to stop them. From the mafia on Europa trafficking human-animal hybrids, to an AI worshipped by a surrogacy convent, there was no shortage of strange and unusual characters reshaping humanity. But of all the secrets and madmen hiding beyond the asteroid belt, none compared to Edax RNA and The Boss who developed it.

I know all I am is what they made me. I'm not like everyone else, different, in a bad way. My heart still beats... but faster... my eyes just a little sharper... my hearing just a little better. I'm both human and not at the same time. I'm faster, stronger, and more resilient than any one of them, but do I feel what they feel? If they added things to my DNA to make me better did I lose some things too? Are we really so different?

Mara Jarrow has always believed her past was simple: a loving father, a dead mother, and a childhood she barely remembers. But after a series of disturbing episodes, her father sends her to St. Agnes Psychiatric Institute-a prestigious facility hidden far from the outside world. Mara expects treatment. Instead, she finds unanswered questions. Why do the staff seem to know her? Why are patients disappearing? Why do her memories contradict the records? And why does St. Agnes feel less like a hospital the longer she stays? As Mara begins searching for answers, she uncovers a mystery buried deep within the institution-one that reaches far beyond her diagnosis and into the forgotten pieces of her own childhood. At St Agnes, nothing is quite what it seems. And the truth about why Mara was brought there may be far more frightening than anything she could have imagined. 🚸This will be a mostly clean psychological mystery story and will include a completely new cast. There will be no nudity or 18+ bedroom acts incorporated, but there will be certain crimes to humanity and pictures incorporated into the chapters. I wanted to try something new. This is intended to be a mind bender... so come along on this journey with me!🚸

In the desert of Western Kemp, hidden within the towering cliffs, lies the legendary Temple of Akh-Neteru: a place of ancient wisdom and forbidden knowledge. Carved seamlessly into the mountainside, the temple houses the lost secrets of the afterlife, creation, and enlightenment. For centuries, it has remained a myth, a whispered legend among those who traverse the desolate sands. For a small group of initiates, the temple's sacred truths are within reach. Hathor, a celestial falcon halfbreed with a mysterious heritage. Gavriel, a devoted warrior torn by doubt. Oronos, a former acolyte from Atlantis. Nalini, a grieving widow desperate to resurrect her lost husband. Drawn together in pursuit of the ultimate knowledge of life and death, they uncover ancient texts and secrets long buried. In a reimagining of "The Divine Comedy," four souls journey through a metaphysical underworld and higher realms shaped by ancient myths and world religious traditions. As they navigate these realms, they uncover hidden truths about Atlantis, setting the stage for their awakening and the fate of the world. But the temple is not without its dangers. Forces beyond their comprehension are awakening, and as Atlantis teeters on the brink of collapse, they must decide how far they are willing to go for the knowledge they seek. Can the boundaries between life and death be undone, or is there a reason the afterlife must remain untouched? With the fate of Atlantis hanging in the balance, the four initiates must confront their deepest fears, their desires, and their devotion to the Truth. **** "The Guardians of Atlantis" is a science fantasy novella set in the Third World Universe created by author Sunny Ghauri. Though it runs parallel to the events in the novel "The Sky Gods of Atlantis," this story stands on its own as a tale of power, loss, and the eternal struggle between life and death.

Larmina Bari is a Genetics and Genomics student at Columbia University. After her family fled war-torn Afghanistan in 2002, Larmina was raised a perpetual nomad, never settling in one place for more than a year. Growing up working in the idyllic tea fields of Assam in India, the mountainous villages of Zagoria in Greece and on the serene lakes of Kitzbuhel Tirol in Austria was ostensibly a gift, but it was an often isolated and lonely upbringing. Larmina's father, a former geneticist - discredited and shamed in his later years - had died just months after arriving in London when lamina was 15 years old. Her father's stories had filled her with intrigue about evolution and the possibility of accelerating human development by genetic manipulation. This intrigue, combined perhaps with a sense of duty, had led Larmina to enrol at Columbia University and to delve deeper into her father's studies. What she would learn, though, would raise dangerous questions about her father's work, and throw her own life under a very illuminating and perilous spotlight.

The pounding in my head increased and I clenched my fist. This was all her fault. I was stuck down here and it was all her fault. I would never see my parents again and she was to blame for it. My eyes teared up and I clenched my fist harder, my nails were digging into my skin. My chest rose and fell as I panted. I tried to control my anger but I couldn't. The tables in the room started to shake, my soup bowl vibrated on my table, spilling soup on the floor. Margot jumped out of her seat. "Sally, calm down." She reached out to me in a placating manner. "I can't," I said through gritted teeth. "I don't know how to stop it." My stomach churned as I looked at everyone in the room. They were moving as far away as they could get. I felt it again. The sensation I always felt when I was out of my collar, the tingling in my skin, the warmth in my chest and then I knew I'd broken out of my collar again. Margot looked terrified as she froze in front of me. "S-Sally, your hands." ✓#1 of the Storm series

Lily was just a normal girl who wanted to spend evenings with her cat, a good book, and some hot tea. Sure she has Telekinesis and a natural knack for predicting when things are about to go south, but that's not too extraordinary nowadays. The traditional government has fallen, and science has gotten out of control. Mothers are getting viruses injected into their children that will randomly mutate their DNA, giving them a random mutation, or as the scientists call it 'superpower'. One night on her way home from work Lily gets a feeling of dread that can only mean that danger is on its way. Soon after the city is getting bombed, their electrical grid is turned off, and a force field has been placed around the city limits. The New Genetics Association has taken their city hostage with unknown motive. With the help from her sister's special vision, and an unexpectedly strong (and cute) stranger, Lily realizes that they might be the only ones to stop the attacks on their city and restore balance to everyone's lives.

Nyx has been on the run for who knows how long. A fugitive in the eyes of the Sanguina Institute. An enemy of the IndivCo Union. What a life it must be to run from two different evils. ◈ ◈ ◈ Nyx has led an uneventful life for four years, a much-needed change of pace after growing up in the Sanguina Institute surrounded by war councilors and a handful of genetically modified agents - but not without the threat of an assassination hovering over her shoulders as well as her fellow fugitives. Things took a turn for the worst when her little world of safety and sunflowers began crumbling in on itself as the Institution threatened to take away everything from her. Of course, being a beacon of diplomacy and all, the Institution was welcome to compromise. They agreed to ensure her friends' and her safety - the only condition being that they turn themselves in and return to the very place they've been running from for four years. The bargain seemed laughable until another danger from the IndivCo union began looming over them. Join Nyx as she treads through a world where sinister forces hiding in plain sight hold governments by the neck, where genetically engineered humans freely roam the planet undetected, and where people are constantly battling and choosing between two evils. Join Nyx as she lives a life on a knife's edge. ◈ ◈ ◈ I started writing this story way back when. It's gone through multiple readings, re-readings, edits, revisions, and a whirlwind of miscellaneous events along the way until I decided to go on hiatus and take a break from writing for a while. It's a work in progress, just like me, but like all good things, it'll take time. How long? I don't know. Who knows anything these days anyway? But I do know that I'm back, and I'm (probably) here to stay. Date Started: May 13, 2017 Date Finished: __ __, ____
