Ten girls are created in a lab experiment to produce a new line of defense for their country. Their intelligence is unmeasurable, and their abilities are vast. Kept in a secret lab for training, the ten learn, and grow into mature teens, but when the oldest of them goes through severe organ failure and dies, they are left with the realisation of how short life can be. Searching for adventure, now the nine set out, hoping to discover the reasoning behind their existence and humanity's. How will the world react?

Seraph Daelynne was never going to be ordinary, it was in her genetics, down to the core. Genetic modification was defnitely a problem within the American society by now, but it was fairly accepted, at least by most. Living in New York City, having incredibly high intelligence was totally acceptable, many people were trying to get above the rising tide of brilliant minds. Having perfect hair, the blending colors, exactly the colors and hues of fire, was totally acceptable, hair dye was easy to come across. Having eyes the color of antifreeze, a bright, grass-green, was explainable too, contact lenses were the fad at this moment in time. However, being powered up with pyrokinesis, is not. Two tribes of genetically modified teens, living in destroyed world after a nuclear bomb that only they survived, thanks to their geneticall differences. With no man-made items or signs of human life, both tribes are at war for more land to survive. One tribe lives in Gem Forest (Foresters), the other tribe in Gem Desert (Sanders). They must rely on instincts and each other to survive. Note: Sanders have orange gems on their right hands, Foresters have green gems on their left hands. OK so I am putting this story on hold. I wanted to put the basic idea of the story out there. Of this gets enough reads/votes, I'll continue it. I do want to continue it, but if nobody is reading it I don't want to work too hard on it.
