Living in New York City, having incredibly high intelligence was totally acceptable, many people were trying to get above the rising tide of brilliant minds. Having perfect hair, the blending colors, exactly the colors and hues of fire, was totally acceptable, hair dye was easy to come across. Having eyes the color of antifreeze, a bright, grass-green, was explainable too, contact lenses were the fad at this moment in time. However, being powered up with pyrokinesis, is not. When a genetically modified weapon with the form of human girl escapes what will happen? Will they risk killing the freak and losing the decades that they'd spent creating and forming her or will they risk their lives kidnapping her and taking her back? Will the experiment with no name run or will she kill?

Two tribes of genetically modified teens, living in destroyed world after a nuclear bomb that only they survived, thanks to their geneticall differences. With no man-made items or signs of human life, both tribes are at war for more land to survive. One tribe lives in Gem Forest (Foresters), the other tribe in Gem Desert (Sanders). They must rely on instincts and each other to survive. Note: Sanders have orange gems on their right hands, Foresters have green gems on their left hands. OK so I am putting this story on hold. I wanted to put the basic idea of the story out there. Of this gets enough reads/votes, I'll continue it. I do want to continue it, but if nobody is reading it I don't want to work too hard on it.
