When people like him start disappearing quietly, cleanly, efficiently, Kam learns the truth: the city isn't protecting anyone. It's optimizing them out. Kam generates heat. Too much to hide. Too unstable to suppress. To the system that governs the city, he isn't a person. He's a liability waiting to be removed. At first, the heat is a problem. Then Kam learns how to shape it. How to route it. How to survive long enough to understand what's trying to erase him. As the city tightens its controls, Kam is forced to grow stronger, faster, and more precise, turning raw output into deliberate force. If the system wants him cooled, it'll have to survive the overload first. What to expect: Slow-burn progression fantasy in a modern, cyberpunk city Power growth through control, engineering, and system exploitation No stat sheets or blue boxes Technical combat where heat, lag, and failure matter Escalation over arcs, not spikes.

Three hundred years after the Aether-Fall, humanity is a broken machine. The Nine Cities rule the clean zones with an iron fist, trading resources via massive, high-speed trains while the rest of the population rots in the contaminated zones. It is a world of "Symmetri" and "Discordi," of those who own the sky and those who bleed in the red dirt. In this world, truth is a commodity controlled by the Revision Engine, and peace is maintained through the brutal "Veiling" of stolen children. Kael Vance is a product of this system. A Gen-12 soldier with eyes that shimmer when he uses his power to predict the next three seconds of a heartbeat. He was built to be the shield of Northgate, a hunter of the deformed, and a loyal servant of the Iron Treaty. But when the "monsters" he hunts begin to look more human than the generals who command him, Kael's temporal perception starts showing him things he wasn't meant to see. In a world where history is rewritten every day, the only thing more dangerous than a lie is a soldier who remembers.

Twenty years after the world's governments fell, society is ruled by the Ascendants-an elite class genetically engineered for perfection. Everyone else lives in the Lower Grid, monitored by drones and scanned daily for "defects." Forced into hiding, he discovers an underground network of defectives like him who are planning to dismantle the Ascendants' entire infrastructure. Their first mission: infiltrate the Core Tower and broadcast the truth about the Ascendant experiments before the regime wipes them out completely.

Kirch was never just a child. He was born in a laboratory, raised by two scientists who shaped him as a project: his mother, cold and methodical; his father, obsessed with perfecting him. Throughout his childhood, parts of his body were replaced, each modification presented as a gift... and each improvement as a step toward a goal that wasn't his own. Confined, with only robots for company, Kirch dreamed of a world he had never known. Until a secret connection to the network revealed the truth: he had no childhood-only a design. Now, he must decide how to live when his life was never truly his own.

An intergalactic adventure of courage, destiny and hope told across the star filled sky. Ultra Nova - Prophecy is the first book in a trilogy. Inspired by my love of epic space operas, fast-paced adventure tales and action-packed movies. The Fereshar Rebellion has been crushed. The Premier has assumed control over the Sol Republic while maintaining an uneasy truce with the alien Sherezdai, who came close to destroying mankind in the war. On the midworld planet Terra Zaali, a boy's chance discovery sets in motion the unraveling of a secret that will shake the galaxy. Across the star filled night sky a signal is heard and whispers echo in the underground bars and alleyways. Some claim it is the Silver Ghost, signalling his return. From the shrouded halls of Earth's Opal Palace a fleet of starships set forth into deepest space. Led by Sixth, the Hunter, they seek their quarry, a dangerous girl like no other. One with the ability to shape the destiny of all humanity. #ULTRANOVA ###### I first published these chapters in 2014, then got sidetracked by other things. Im still planning to get back to this eventually.

According to the trustworthy, perfectly reasonable, and brilliant mind of Athena Concord, the city of Veridian is the absolute worst place on the planet. Definitely the hot take of the century, sure, but she's sticking true to it no matter what. But hot take or no, she has to live there, no matter how loudly or incessantly she's going to complain about it. To say she's frustrated is a tad underexaggerated. Despite Athena's opinions and their obvious veracity, Veridian's at least not boring. Between her insufferable relatives and prickly mother, Athena has another distraction. Her father disappeared in this city - a source of unending agony that keeps her restless - and yet her family has opted to sweep it under the rug. If nothing else, Athena will do anything to find the truth, no matter the cost. But how far is she willing to expose herself to the monsters who took her father away...? (Note: Ashes of Eden is the working name for the series, I'm hoping to find another. If anyone has suggestions, please tell me and I'll see if I can majigger something out of them)

SPLICE verb (used with object), spliced, splic·ing. Genetics. to join (segments of DNA or RNA) together. A college intern gets in over their head when they pick up a couple of strays, and a weary information broker may have bitten off more than he can chew. [1ST ROUGH DRAFT. SEEKING CRITICISM. Seeing as this a WEBCOMIC script, descriptions are more for personal use than anything. My biggest concern rn is the dialogue, though other critiques are always welcome]

Imagine a world filled with human-animal hybrids. They're stronger than us. Faster. More deadly and hungry. Always hungry. Now, step inside the laboratory and witness their creation. Created as weapons. Designed to obey. No one expected them to want revenge. This is Mutter's story. For the first time in his life he's afraid. Afraid of the shots his new master is giving him. Afraid that if he doesn't escape, he'll become food for one of the creatures in the nearby cages or worse...He'll become one of them. Book one in the Chimera Chronicles is a stand-alone dystopian, genetic engineering story about human-animal hybrids. It's urban fantasy/science fiction that'll make you question who the real monsters are. Whether you're an animal rights activist or just love your pets, this book will make you root for those in the laboratory.

"The sky above New York fractured in emerald fire, alien warships blotting out the sun as chaos reigned in the streets. In the aftermath of that first, devastating strike, reporter Elias Reed followed a single lead into the heart of Manhattan's darkest secret: Dark Sector, a top-secret military blacksite buried beneath layers of steel and stone. There, amid corridors slick with oil and the echo of distant gunfire, Reed stumbled into a vast chamber. Before him lay the Forerunner: a dormant alien machine titan of living crystal and rock-metal, its surface humming with latent power. As he reached for answers, a blinding surge of energy fused man and machine in a single, thunderous moment. When he awoke, the world had changed. Convinced the blacksite's directors had grafted his mind to this alien construct, Elias vowed retribution. No longer content to hide in shadows, he would hunt down every scientist, officer, and architect of Dark Sector, demanding the truths they buried beneath concrete and lies. Now, with city and sky still smoldering, the Forerunner emerges from the depths-an unrelenting force driven by one question: Who turned Elias Reed into a weapon... and what price must be paid to unveil the secrets of Dark Sector? Turn the page, and bear witness to the hunt through shattered corridors, burning streets, and the hidden depths of a conspiracy that threatens to consume man and machine alike."
