NOTE: This is just a fan fiction (you know what fan fiction means) from the video game Overwatch™ by BLIZZARD ENTERTAINMENT. I do not own the characters and some of the details here including some of the in-game but mostly are the ideas of the author. This is a Genji x Reader so that you will be satisfied in reading. Synopsis: (Y/N) is in the world of Overwatch where many battles clash between human and omnic robots. (Y/N) lived peacefully in (Y/C) and all seemed well until the omnics had attacked and destroyed (Y/C) and killed her family. Rescued by Overwatch she joined the organization as she had no choice since she had no family even a distant one. Having a bitter hatred towards the omnics, she was adopted by Jack Morrison, the commander of Overwatch and convinced him to join the team to fight for what's right. But part of (Y/N) seemed to alter when crossed paths with a ninja/samurai named Genji Shimada. Strong, flamboyant, caring, adventurous, Genji Shimada lived a carefree life of luxury. Coming from a well-known clan, he pursued a playboy lifestyle, only to take little attention to his father's criminal empire. Although he had experienced petty arguments from his family, he only wanted to live a life of peace and tranquility. But all of that was going to change...for a matter of time. The two fostered great bonds as they came to different trials and hardships that life gives. Both tolerate each one's being with patience and caution. But as time passes they now began to surface feelings that dwelled long within their core. Would this strengthen the bond they have for each other? Would Genji change (Y/N)'s long vigil? Would they turn to opposite ways? Or perhaps they would live life as simple? It's up to them to balance the strings of entwined fate between the two...

One day, when sent on an internship to a company looking to advance modern medicine, a chemical for veterinary purposes is spilled onto her. Oddly enough, nothing seemed to happen and she went about her day, until she woke up the next morning with cat ears and an ability to see in the dark. The Shimada Clan, a ruthless, brutal, infamous group known by all in the country of Japan. Within the clan are the leader's two sons, Genji Shimada and Hanzo Shimada. Both of them only three years apart, Hanzo being the oldest. The brothers grew up in the clan, treated with great wealth and power. There was not a day that went by that the brothers were apart, they stuck together like glue. Soon these brothers became fine young men who would take over the clan and become the next leaders. Within that clan was young Miss Kay Aiuchi, a assigned assassin among the others in the clan. Though she wasn't always apart of the clan, her family in America used to own a clan. But America was killing any outlaws, mafia gangs, and clans left and right. She was left with nothing but the scars of her old home. The Shimada clan has taken her under their wing and was hired for being the brother's caretaker, even though she was younger than them. All three grew up together, and leading to an unbreakable friendship. But what happens when one of them is overwhelmed with greed and hatred...

This story is following both genji and the daughter of Mccree and mercy. In the story genji is 35 and Jessie is 22(yes mercy and Mccree were 15 when she was born...I've done the math. Side note Mccree is now with Hanzo so yes there's McHanzo there is also reaper76. She also refers for reyes as Abuelo and jack as Gramps) anyways here's a real description. (Cover to come later......as well as a better name.) From Jessie's pov: ever since I was a child I've liked Genji. How could anyone not? His green hair is adorable, his child like personality always makes me happy, and than there's the fact that he spends all his free time with me. I refuse to tell him how I feel though...one because dad is dating his brother, but Abuelo would kill him....again. From Genji's pov: I've watched Jessie grow up since I was 13...I've always loved her. At first I thought it was the love a brother would feel for his kid sister but as she got older I realized it was much deeper.
