Part one of my genloss series shuttered It starts when Tubbo becomes obsessed with the camera, taking hundreds of eerie photos and slowly losing touch with reality. Ranboo notices his behavior deteriorating-nightmares, paranoia, and talking to something no one else can see. When Ranboo finally throws the camera into the fire, the shadow figure appears in full view, attacking and infecting them with a strange black liquid that causes trance-like states. The figure uses the camera as a gateway, pulling people into its "photo wall" realm. Wilbur is dragged inside but escapes, and Ranboo eventually smashes the camera, breaking its hold. However, the damage to Tubbo's mind is irreversible-he starts to unravel, becoming violent, paranoid, and dangerous. Over the next few weeks, his sanity collapses, forcing the others to have him committed to a psychiatric hospital. But the hospital is not what it seems. Tubbo is the only patient and is subjected to strange experiments, memory loss, and injections that make him obedient. The staff begin preparing him for something called Showfall, dressing him neatly and giving him a new black camera. As the shutter clicks, the shadow returns, grinning.
