In this story you're Avery. Not only did your village just get blown to bits due to the heroes but you're also secretly half human half monster. You had lived most of your life in that village but had heard rumors that Z City was a ghost town only inhabited by monster. Seeing as you were mistrusting of humans, the idea appealed to you and started heading toward the "abandoned city".
