Ed is trapped on his ship with Izzy Hands and a new crew of murderous pirates who will kill him at the first sign of weakness. Meanwhile, Stede has returned and realized his terrible mistake. With no ship and no money, he goes to Spanish Jackie for help. Jackie puts him in touch with an infamous pirate who has her own reasons for seeking out Blackbeard. But Stede isn't about to let a small thing like an entire ocean and no ship stop him from making amends with Ed before it's too late. (This story started out as a vignette of Ed in the bath, but then I realized it would be a good start for my own version of Season 2. Bonbon is played by Tessa Thompson, because let's be honest: she'd make a badass pirate and she's friends with Taika, so it feels very plausible that she'd show up in this world.) --- As always, comments deeply appreciated. Blackbeard emerges from belowdecks after hearing his ship being raided. Who he sees takes his breath away. Being a long-time lover of the How to Train Your Dragon movies and a newfound Our Flag Means Death fan, I've decided to mash the two together like Vladimir with his little ceramic unicorns in Tangled. The 80s are in full swing, and the golden decade of Nintendo Gameboys' and Sony Walkmans' has never looked better. In the neon jungle, Stede Bonnet, a young salaryman, meets enigmatic mechanic apprentice Edward Teach, and the pair strike up an unlikely friendship via fax machine, page beepers and gifts in the mail.

Bombio - Stede and Edward were separated by sea, bonded only by their love. But even that was ripped away when some Izzy decided to make Edward emo and depressed. This is a collection of oneshots of how they meet up.

The crew of the Revenge have a conversation about mermaids instead of doing their pirate duties. An interesting conversation ensues.

Stede was a well-known gentleman who was understood to have been very unsettled with his life. Married with children, his life lacked a certain feel of something he craved. Well, be careful what you wish for as the day of the raid had happened. Blackbeard had come.

Stede and Edward are finally getting married and the whole crew is excited. Now they are both getting fitted by Wee John for their wedding outfits. Stede can't wait to see what Ed will look like in his outfit but he surprised when he finally sees him

Ed comes home to the sound of shouting and yelling when he finds Stede fighting off a stranger and winning. Ed could never guess what the fight was over.

"well this sure is a fixer upper, ay?" said stede, giving out an airy laugh. (Cover art by me)

Stede and Ed decide to take a vacation from innkeeping and spend time with the crew and they made it just in time for Calypso's birthday, where Ed gets really drunk.

Post-season one, post-reunion but not-quite reconciliation. To celebrate a recent swashbuckling, the crew is having a dance party aboard The Revenge! Trouble is, Edward and Stede still haven't really -addressed- anything that has happened between them. But thanks to a dreamy summer night and Frenchie's lute, they might just get the courage to put words to whatever it is. CW for light mention of drinking; everyone is a little buzzed but more than sober enough to consent to anything that's happening.

Stede Bonnet is a mermaid who longs to be a pirate. When the chance comes along for him to have legs, he jumps onboard. However, in order to keep them, he has to kill or seduce a pirate captain in two weeks. Easy, right? Title of this fic is a line from the song "Calypso" by John Denver.

"Say the name again." Ed stabbed his dagger in the wooden barrel that served them as a table. "And be sure you're remembering correctly." The storyteller dropped his bottle and his friend spilled his drink over himself as he flinched. "I- I swear I'm only repeating what I heard from the Windward Islands!" "Who died?" Ed growled. "Bonnet! Some bloke named Stede Bonnet," whimpered the man, his eyes following the tip of the dagger as it approached his throat. "He was a wealthy landowner from Barbados, that's what they say. I don't know more, swear it on my life!" * What would happen if Ed caught wind of Stede's death and spent several days thinking they parted ways without ever saying goodbye?
