When Rufus the dog wanders onto the wrong porch, Clara's quiet, temporary life tilts in a direction she never expected. Freshly separated and living in a borrowed house, Clara isn't looking for connection - especially not with the gentle, steady man next door who brews too much coffee and carries more kindness than he realises. Ethan isn't looking either. But he notices her. The way she sits. The way she breathes. The way she's trying to hold herself together without making a sound. What begins as shared evenings, soft conversations, and the comforting weight of a dog who refuses to choose sides slowly becomes something neither of them can ignore. But when Clara's past resurfaces - tender, complicated, unresolved - she finds herself standing between two lives: the one she built, and the one she never saw coming. A later‑in‑life romance about quiet bravery, unexpected belonging, and the porch that changed everything.

London's chilly weather has to be one of my favourites. Especially when walking through the streets at night with almost no one around. The silence of the empty city is only heard by one of my ears as I have one AirPod in. I finally go inside the pharmacy, making my way to the hair products aisle. Picking up a vanilla-scented pair of shampoo and conditioner, I head to the self-checkout. I pay for my purchase and walk out the automatic doors, bumping into someone almost instantly. The sound of a heavy object hitting the ground startled me and I look over to the person asking if they're okay, I'm met with the green-eyed gaze of a man who held my arm to help me not fall like the thing that was on his back, which looks like a guitar case... Is it broken?! - This story is based on the song "No One Knows" by Stephen Sanchez featuring Laufey. - Lana decided to enjoy her early 20s as a physical education student and just moved to London, but only knows Charlotte, a girl she met during a trip to the city almost a decade ago. When she arrived Charlotte introduced her to Owen, who has been her best friend since birth. Lana started working as a barista and met Isaac, a man who was classmates with Owen a couple years back, and is also her coworker who seemed to enjoy playfully hitting on her, or making her life a living hell, as she would say. They can't live around each other without their usual bickering sessions that seem to never come to an end, yet, they're in the same friend group. // *I don't write smut, so please don't ask me to :) // 02/01/2025 - #35 friendgroup 10/01/2025 - #27 coworkers 11/01/2025 - #24 barista 10/01/2025 - #23 suggestive 10/01/2025 - #4 gentlelove 31/01/2026 - #4 confessions

Some people arrive loudly. Others arrive like soft music through half-open windows - quietly, gently, and all at once. Riven Ahlawat carried sunlight in his smile and exhaustion in his heart, while Siara Luthra carried entire oceans of love within melodies no one truly listened to closely enough. They were two people adored by the world, yet strangely lonely within it. And somewhere between airport departures, late-night conversations, stadium skies, and songs written at ungodly hours, they began to love each other in the softest ways possible. Not loudly. Not suddenly. But like warmth slowly finding its way back home. This is the story of a love so gentle, it felt a little like prayer - of hearts choosing each other quietly, every single day. ✨

They had known of each other since childhood, though barely-just fleeting glances at the corridors and passing words at family gatherings. She was reserved, graceful, carrying her family's legacy with effortless grace, a future heir of the dreams she never choose but accepted with dignity. He chose the world of business, building his own path instead of the responsibilities, he didn't wanted to accept. Their families moved in circles of politics, power and influence, where every gesture, every words were mattered. Years passed, and those passing glance became thoughts he could not ignore. He admired her from afar, the way she moved with grace, the way her presence commanded attention without a word. And one day, after much hesitation and courage he finally asked for her hand "Humein aap pasand hain, Zara. Kya aap hamse shaadi krne ke liye raazi hain?" ______________________________________________ She met his eyes with calm composure, a soft, reserved smile, and said, "Humein aap pasand hai... par papa ki ijaazat bhi zarooori hai." In that single line, tradition and longing intertwined. And quietly, their journey of love began.

Daniel never expected a week in a remote cabin to change anything. He went for quiet, for space, for the chance to breathe. What he found instead was Jo - sharp‑eyed, guarded, unexpectedly kind - the last person he thought he'd trust, and the only person who made him feel seen. They weren't supposed to get close. They weren't supposed to linger. They definitely weren't supposed to miss each other when the week ended. But some connections don't care about timing. Back home, the silence feels different. Her number sits in his pocket like a promise. One phone call becomes another. A concert invitation becomes something more. And slowly, quietly, without either of them naming it, Daniel and Jo begin building a life that feels steadier than anything they've known. This isn't a story about grand gestures or dramatic declarations. It's about two people choosing each other in the small moments - the ones that matter. A soft, slow‑burn adult romance about trust, tenderness, and the unexpected ways we find home.

Miami carries deep secrets, like the roots of a rose. But both the Everhart and the Thores family don't know that. At least, not their daughters. Belle Everhart moved to Miami with her mom and dad during fall. Simply because of her father's bussiness job. Leaving everything behind wasn't easy but she soon finds out Miami isn't so bad. It'd be better if her dad didn't leave for bussiness trips all the time though. Luckily, Belle meets Elodie Thores after a night gone wrong. Unfortunately, the tension between them sparks a fire, and not a good one. While both daughters struggle with the fire between them and their feelings something goes on behind their back. Something that might just ruin their lifes so suddenly, wether they like it or not.

I gave flowers to see who would water them. This is not a collection. It is a realisation. Not because I was naΓ―ve. Not because I didn't understand how the world works. But because I wanted to believe that care could be mutual. These poems are for the ones who loved gently but never blindly. For those who offered warmth without being asked twice. For those who expected softness-and slowly learned who was capable of giving it. Between fragrance and silence, between hope and awareness, these pages hold the quiet shift from giving endlessly to choosing intentionally. There are flowers here. There is dignity. There is the ache of almost. And the strength of walking away without turning cold. Because sometimes the real heartbreak is not that love failed- but that you finally saw it clearly. And still chose to remain soft.

The Quiet Between Words tells the story of Minghao Xu and Zhihan Liu, two creative writing and literature students whose love begins not with fireworks, but with quiet recognition. When Zhihan transfers from Shenzhen to a university in Shanghai, she expects nothing more than another year of studying, solitude, and routine. But then she meets Minghao - a reserved, observant photographer whose silences seem to hum with thought. Their connection forms gently, like a poem unfolding line by line. Through shared afternoons at art museums, picnics in the park, and quiet evenings writing side by side, they discover that love doesn't always need to be spoken to be felt. Zhihan leaves love notes tucked into Minghao's notebooks; Minghao responds with photographs that capture the fleeting beauty of the world - and of her. After graduation, they begin a new chapter told through letters and journal entries, revealing how their relationship evolves as they navigate distance, work, and the delicate balance between independence and togetherness. In the stillness of words and images, they find a language entirely their own - one built from trust, tenderness, and an unspoken understanding that real love doesn't demand attention; it simply exists
