Cole Brookstone isn't found by his friends until six years after the event called the Merge separated him from them. He tried tirelessly to find them again, but.... One person can only take so much emptiness. For a while, that's all Cole could find as he wandered. Until he stumbled across the Land of Lost Things, meeting the Finders and Geo. They took him in and allowed him to rest, even for just a few days. Days turned to weeks, to months, to years. Cole never left the Land of Lost things.
