A science-fantasy crossover, that asks "What If the World of Arknights met the 21st Century United States." Beneath the classified depths of Area 51, a decades-long black project known as Project ARKSEK has achieved what was once thought impossible: the creation of a stable, functional gateway to another world. In the wake of this discovery, the United States mobilizes its most advanced and sophisticated military units and scientific minds to establish the first Human presence beyond the Gate. However, this new world known as "Terra" by its inhabitants is no empty frontier. It is a world shaped by its own complex History, Societies, Nations, Geopolitics, and scarred by Catastrophes. Home to diverse nations built upon the foundation of Originium, an enigmatic energy rich mineral that fuels entire civilizations, but also spreads a deadly disease that has no cure, known as Oripathy. What begins as an exploration mission slowly becomes something far more what the US could have ever bargained for in another world. Fraught with discoveries and dangers unlike anything humanity has ever encountered before. As American forces attempt to understand and navigate this alien yet familiar landscape, they will be forced to confront questions of Morality, Control, Diplomacy and weighing the cost of Intervention. What they will find on the other side may change the future of both worlds. For better or for worse. Every discovery always has a cost. And some doors, once opened, cannot be closed. Somewhere deep in the remote Ural Mountains of Russia a joint operation consisting of Team Rainbow and local Russian forces were tasked to capture an HVT(high value target) Levi Klitschko a rogue bio-researcher along with remnants of the infamous "White Mask" group. Just as the assault was underway on an old abandoned Soviet research facility. An inexplicable memory gap occurred where the moment they were battling inside the facility turned into what came after the unexpected phenomenon defied all expectations. In the midst of the inexplicable confusion, Team Rainbow now found themselves in a strange yet familiar world. The slavic looking city is called Chernobog and for some reason the written languages looks Cyrillic but its not Russian. To add more to their troubles a group of unknown mass rioters calling themselves the "Reunion" started to wreck havoc in the gloomy slavic city with no discrimination. The rioters seemed to have abnormally strong physique that does not match of any trained military or mercenary personnel on Earth. With animalistic characteristics and some sort of epidemic disease plaguing the world due to some oddly black glowing rocks called the Originium, Team Rainbow's emergence may have shifted or accelerated the future of Terra. On April 24, 2004, an impossible archway opened on the South Lawn of the White House. What followed wasn't a clean invasion or a neat first contact; it was chaos, confusion, and a brutal fight for survival as soldiers faced enemies that shouldn't exist and weapons that didn't obey familiar rules. Staff Sergeant Michael Alvarez, a D.C. National Guard MP, survives Day Zero by performing his trained duty: maintaining the line. But when the smoke clears, the gate doesn't close, and the world doesn't get answers. As the U.S. government locks down the truth and builds a permanent foothold around the anomaly, something becomes clear: the Gate is not a temporary crisis. It's a new geographic fact of reality, linking Earth to a ruined capital in another world that fears the Gate as much as humanity does. No heroes. No prophecy. No effortless victories. The White House Event is a grounded, military-focused first-contact story about uncertainty, institutional pressure, and what happens when humanity realizes that the unknown and themselves are permanent. Chapters are released weekly at 12:00 p.m. CST Occasionally, updates will be made to the previous chapters.
