"The name's Georgie-Georgie Cooper." author's note: after watching the first few seasons of young sheldon, i came to fall in love with georgie's character. he's good looking, a businessman, and willing to do anything for his lover. only problem is, he's a horny teenage boy who only wants to get rich so attractive girls will like him. that made me wonder, what if georgie wasn't like that? what if he learned to love someone and was willing to do everything for them, not because of their appearance? i wanted to create this book to come up with a more mature georgie and a more ideal love interest for him, but i also tried to make him stay in character (to the best of my ability). so i thought, in order for georgie's love interest to not be his ideal match, who could it be? and that's when i came up with the idea: what if his love interest was a guy? and yes, i know, he's stated before that 'the only guy he's calling attractive is himself', so he's obviously not gay in the show, but this is fanfiction. i wanted to write a story where he didn't fall in love because of appearances, and was able to learn to love someone who he didn't think he would be able to love. so i present to you this fanfiction, where georgie learns to love a male character (the point of view you're reading the book from). thank you for reading this long message, now enjoy the book! started 6/30/2023
