"I heard Lord Simon's your brother..." I started and I was met with silence but I saw something flash in his eyes that made them look colder than they already were. An odd offer from Lord Matthew Simons, the most eligible bachelor leads her to meet Mr Nicholas Simons, Lord Matthew Simon's older brother, who many people, herself included, were unaware of his existence for some odd reason. He was cold, rude and intimidating and brought out the worst in her. Miss Adams had the misfortune of capturing the cold, intense and empty grey eyes of a troubled man with a frosty demeanour. He felt drawn to the woman in the shadows.
