All of the Inspector Calls Conspiracy Theories I can think of :)

Eric Birling was 23 years old. They say your teenage years are your glory years, and tonight, seated with his family to celebrate his sister's engagement, such a statement has never seemed so true.

Eric has had a rough night and goes for a drive, but horror strikes and he crashes Gerald comes across the scene and gets... intimate

Eric couldn't bear losing Gerald. Not after they'd just gotten together. He'd do anything to get him back, even if it meant sailing across the world.

Why Mr Birling is a Boomer and other ways we can link An Inspector Calls to modern-day society. So, a few months ago I started to write this small funny little essay about why Mr Birling from An Inspector Calls is a boomer, and now, 4500 words later, here we are. I don't know how, or why for that matter, I wrote this, but it is written by a slightly depressed gen z kid who has strong political views, so like, just forewarning you. This is exactly what it says on the tin, why Mr Birling and the other characters of An Inspector Calls can link to modern-day society from the viewpoint of a gay gen z. Enjoy. (Also, there is swearing, mentions of r@p3, pr0stituti0n and me being gay for Sheila, so if you don't wanna read that then don't read this. That is all)

After the inspector calls, all the child's lives fall apart. Of course Mr & Mrs Birling life's are not affected, why should they be held accountable for a death they did not directly cause. Eric resorts to alcohol once more, drinking his nights away. Waking up in unfamiliar places. One morning after consuming a copious amount of alcohol beyond his usual limit, he wakes in the arms of someone familiar.

The Inspector has made a huge impact on what is to come for the Birling family and Gerald Croft, but this time, he does not return. Eric Birling and Gerald Croft discover something new about themselves.

Everything has changed since that night. They all can feel it even months on. Their grief. Their guilt. For the poor girl with a thousand names. Well, now a new day was breaking, new hope was rising. But a very wise man once said, if men cannot learn their lesson, they will learn it in fire and blood and anguish.

Gerald and Eric are on the Titanic, and the ship is sinking fast. But will their love remain afloat?

March, 1911. Throughout 'An Inspector Calls' the lives of the characters and all their crimes and idiocies are made known to the family by the Inspector. However, what if there were still some secrets left kept?
