A Stunning fluffy black cat of all things making Geralt regret his entire existence. Since now he owes his life to a cat he takes the cat with him to the in where it meets Jaskier. the cat doesn't take to kindly to Jaskier at first but slowly except him after a treat. Geralt knows something is up with the cat when but can't really put his finger on it until he wakes up to find the cat isn't a cat anymore but something else far more bizarre.

Both were soon indifferent. Humanised and bewitched, with the rise, slowly come hysteria. A mysterious creature; slow, sweet, violent... merely a shadow of what love once was, but all the same.

They say curiosity killed the cat. Could one too many careless decisions cost Geralt everything?

Jaskier fainted, and Geralt picked him up like a sack of potatoes, put him on the horse, and made poor Roach run back to the nearest town. No, Geralt wasn't desperate to know if his bard was dying; he was just worried that the man who had been traveling with him was... Well, dying. Fuck, he was worried.

In his pursue for Ciri, Geralt has to get aid. He needed something powerful. More magical than anything they've encountered before. So he and Vesemir go to a completely different world to seak said help from a mage. A wizard they call him. Yen referred to him as Gandalf the Grey. Little did they know that the help they were seeking was in a different form. Not a spell or a magical object.

Geralt sees Yennefer as fire. Demanding, consuming, and impossible to ignore, a storm that makes him sharper but also constantly bleeding. Melody, by contrast, is iron. She's steady, practical, and grounding. She reminds him he can simply be a man, and not a legend. Yennefer drags him toward destiny, Melody toward the ordinary, yet both matter...one burns, the other steadies. And though each is dangerous in her own way, it is Melody's indifference to whether he stays or goes that makes him want to stay most. And so begins the Tale. Welcome, Stragglers!!
