Frank Iero was bored and tired of his life. Nothing made sense to him. He was trying to find out the meaning of life, in vain. The seventeen years old got to the point where he was wondering why he was getting up in the morning. None of this made sense and everything seemed pointless. He had no purpose in life and he just didn't see the point. But maybe all he needed was a bit of adventure. Maybe he just needed someone who'd make his life a bit more interesting, and maybe he was about to find that person through the arrival of his new neighbors. (short chapters.)

“Thanks for showing me around, Father Way,” she winked at the older man, prolonging the word ‘Father,’ leaving him flustered and, confused. Gerard knew that he wasn’t wearing his Church robes that moment. “H-how did you –?” He stuttered, with the blonde interrupting him, of course. “People are naturally unobservant,” she began, picking at her silver chain necklace that ended over her chest. “But not me, Father . . . not me,” then she walked away, a trail of muddy footsteps behind her. Gerard look down at the small crucifix that he didn’t realize he hadn’t removed along with the rest of the evidences that he’s a priest. Well . . . Gerard’s going to have to think that she’s right. My cane bumps over the cracks in the sidewalk as I walk down the street. It's hard to tell where I am and I suddenly feel very self conscious; I know I'm walking too slowly and people are probably staring at me. I'm still not used to it. I don't think I'll ever get used to it. My walking stick catches in what I think must be some sort of pothole, causing me to stumble and fling my arms out to catch myself, though my hands never hit the concrete. "You good?" I don't recognise the voice. It's not very deep though it is distinctly male, and instantly I want him to speak again.
