At some point before the age of 25, you switch with your future self for a day so you can meet your soulmate. This is known as The Swap. Jaskier has always dreamed about meeting his soulmate, except when it finally happens, it's not at all what he expected. Geralt waited for a Swap that never came. He's lived his life thinking he doesn't have a soulmate. Little does he know the second round of witcher trials messed up the timing. Surely this is all a fever dream, right?

When the one he loves gets injured, Jaskier has nothing he could do but sing. Sing, as his blue eyes gazed over the white-haired man who lay vulnerable to everything surrounding them. Sing, as he waits for his love to slowly recover.

so, I originally posted all of these on a03, but with the looming threat of a certain orange man taking a03 down with his taxes as well as all of our rights I will be posting on wattpad as well in hopes of some sort of site surviving him for 4 years. Anyway, so far, there are only geraskier fics in here, but more will be added! also, credit for the picture goes to nopekaat. I didn't see anything saying not to use their fanart, but if anyone knows better, please tell me, and i will immediately change it!

Geralt can be a little more than just possessive when it comes to a certain bard.

"If life could give me one blessing- it would be to take you off my hands!" Jaskier never felt the same after that day on the mountain. His usual happy twinkle in his eyes was gone, as was his motivation to write any more songs that involved Geralt of Rivia and his amazing exploits, he was lost... Only one remained, speaking of the famous Witcher. But how was he to act when facing Geralt once again? In a tavern of all places, it was only a matter of time... but was the bard ready to face his old friend and companion?

Geralt is sent to kill a monster but finds something else instead. Something more human then some of the ones he met on his travels.

POST-SEASON 1 THE WITCHER (TV, Netflix) After finally finding each other and accepting the call from Destiny, Ciri and Geralt travel together far away from the Nilfgaard soldiers who're looking for Ciri. They plan to spend the night at an inn, with such (bad) luck that they end up in the same tavern as the bard Jaskier, who until not long ago was a friend of Geralt's. Geralt is forced to face words he regrets saying, and Jaskier is forced to see the man he's fought so hard to forget. Will they find it in themselves to forgive? Can they bring back what they once had? Sort of fix-it fic because I couldn't bear the thought of Geralt and Jaskier still being angry at each other and separated; they need each other. It can be read as a ship or as deep friendship.

Modern!AU They say that time can heal all wounds, but the past three months without Jaskier have brought nothing but pain for Geralt. When destiny crosses their paths again, will Geralt be able to find the right words to win the brunet back?

Jaskier helps Geralt feel a bit better about their relationship.

Krátká, humorná povídka ze světa Zaklínače v několika kapitolách nabízí pohled na dvě oblíbené postavy, zaklínače Geralta a barda Marigolda, skrze prožitek neznámé osoby v podobě náhodného dobrodružství za jejich společnosti. Záhadná osoba se probouzí uprostřed lesa, sama a bez vzpomínek na předchozí události. Noc se blíží a s ní i možná nebezpečí. Geralt a jeho nový společník Marigold se jako náhodou Osudu nachází ve stejné části lesa, a protože nemají nic lepšího na práci a oba jsou nefalšovaní dobráci od kosti, po střetu s tajemnou nalezenkyní uznají za nejlepší pomoci ji jak s bezprostředním přežitím, tak i do jisté míry s nalezením ztracených vzpomínek. Trojice tak společně tráví noc a následně se vydává se do nedalekého města, kde doufá v pomoc s neplánovaným úkolem. Příběh je inspirován téměř zcela seriálem Zaklínač (The Witcher, 2019), vyjma všeho, co mi na něm vadí, tudíž opraveno a doplněno lepším. Knihy, které jsem četla před dlouhými lety, si nevybavuji natolik, abych povídku dokázala sepsat podle nich, a hry mě teprve čekají, jako již několik dlouhých měsíců, tudíž čerpám primárně z vlastní fantazie a logického úsudku, samozřejmě okořeněno vášnivým srdcem zaujatého fanouška. Věřím, že Vás tímto malým pokladem pobavím a jako prvotinou ze světa Zaklínače i obstojím. P.S.: Jaskier je baby a Geralt zrovna tak, would kill for them, 10/10, honest uwu

Shortly after completing the noonwraith contract, Geralt and Jaskier share their thoughts on the relationship between them.

Modern!AU Julian Pankratz lives the same life as everyone else, completely normal. He has two jobs that keep him on his toes and friends that support him in every way possible. Everything is normal- Until he woke up from a dream that seemed too realistic to not be real. Monsters, contracts, and someone named Geralt started to invade his thoughts. It made him question reality, and even his own sanity. He went to multiple people, asking what to do about it, but they all said the same thing: the dreams he had every night were his past. Jaskier was on the way to start his new life, but a haunting woman in his compartment and an oddly pigmented pair of eyes decided to keep him company. The Witcher Fanfic **not my characters** Modern au Year: 2020 Jaskier is a musician who was planning on touring the world, and to kick off his tour he was staying in London for three nights before leaving the UK. After recently suffering from heartbreak he was happy to leave and meet new people elsewhere, but while staying at The Claridge's he seems to get stuck there, because of the Corona virus outbreak, and so he has to quarantine. Jaskier didn't know what he was going to do about a place to stay, when he gets a phone call from a friend who he had thought wanted nothing to do with him.
