Jaskier is done. He knows this is the end, this is his last journey. His heart could never recover from a wound so deep. If he was human? Maybe. He watched a lot of broken-hearted humans on his travels. Some died, but most lived. He admired the tenacity, the will to cling to life when the most important to them is lost. But Jaskier isn't human and when his time comes, he takes off his shoes and walks away as he should. As every unicorn does when their heart is broken. - Or: After the mountain, Jaskier knows he will die. He doesn't fight it. But when his last journey brings him to Kaer Morhen, the witchers and a certain child surprise do not plan to let him go just because Geralt messed up.

It's been a year ever since Geralt and Jaskier went their separate ways. Geralt goes on a mission to hunt down a swamp monster, first passing by a town. As if faith brought the two together again, they cross paths. Only destiny can tell where they'll go from here. As lies are told and blood is spilled, the world goes back into war, fighting to claim a creature holding the power to destroy it all. Warning: It's probably gonna include lots of blood, imma try not to be too detailed. Also, no smut or NSFW. (May or may not be romantic, depending on you guys 😉 also kinda disappointed that the ship name isn't Jaskieralt, it honestly sounds better....) Also don't ask me to credit the artist for the cover, cause the artist is me ;)

While they travel on the road, Jaskier fills the time joyfully singing a song about a young love. But when he uses male pronouns Geralt starts a tense and confusing conversation. "Wait... So you... liked this guy?"

An interesting dream in a Moder AU where Jaskier is freshly fired, His boss's name is Yennefer, and her partner, Geralt is told to help him with a case.

POST-SEASON 1 THE WITCHER (TV, Netflix) After finally finding each other and accepting the call from Destiny, Ciri and Geralt travel together far away from the Nilfgaard soldiers who're looking for Ciri. They plan to spend the night at an inn, with such (bad) luck that they end up in the same tavern as the bard Jaskier, who until not long ago was a friend of Geralt's. Geralt is forced to face words he regrets saying, and Jaskier is forced to see the man he's fought so hard to forget. Will they find it in themselves to forgive? Can they bring back what they once had? Sort of fix-it fic because I couldn't bear the thought of Geralt and Jaskier still being angry at each other and separated; they need each other. It can be read as a ship or as deep friendship.

Shortly after completing the noonwraith contract, Geralt and Jaskier share their thoughts on the relationship between them.

A tale of death and destiny, heroics and heartbreak.. a tale of two that tried to forge their own destiny, but were not meant to be. Geralt was a Witcher and Jaskier was a bard.
