Based on the game character styles. Dandelion is a basic man surviving though the Apocolypse, making a living by hopping from town to town in order to have food put on the table in front of him. That was his life until a white-haired man with cat-like eyes walked into the Safe House he was hiding in amongst other survivors. Now, Geralt has a job to do, but perhaps bringing this bard along was not the best of ideas. After all, what is an apocalypse compared to falling in love? Trigger Warnings: Light Gore

Geralt had difficulty on finding work, it didn't help the fact, that he might get kicked out from his apartment. Luckily, a friend of his offered him a job. The kind of job he did not look forward to, which was, babysitting some famous singer. But as it turned out, this famous singer, was none other than Julian Alfred Pankratz or Jaskier as he'd liked to be called. Modern Witcher AU! Except they're all human. Bodyguard! Geralt x Singer! POST-SEASON 1 THE WITCHER (TV, Netflix) After finally finding each other and accepting the call from Destiny, Ciri and Geralt travel together far away from the Nilfgaard soldiers who're looking for Ciri. They plan to spend the night at an inn, with such (bad) luck that they end up in the same tavern as the bard Jaskier, who until not long ago was a friend of Geralt's. Geralt is forced to face words he regrets saying, and Jaskier is forced to see the man he's fought so hard to forget. Will they find it in themselves to forgive? Can they bring back what they once had? Sort of fix-it fic because I couldn't bear the thought of Geralt and Jaskier still being angry at each other and separated; they need each other. It can be read as a ship or as deep friendship.

They say curiosity killed the cat. Could one too many careless decisions cost Geralt everything?

The stars are beautiful and Jaskier can't sleep, but how was he supposed to know that a late night conversation could turn into so much more?
