Red - Red like love, like desire, like power or anger. Red like blood. A lot of blood. Too much blood. She didn't know wether the person on the tiled floor was already dead or still breathing. But one thing was clear to her: this person would never mess up her life again.

When Kairi is torn away from everything she knows by a blazing rift of light, all she has left is the fall into an unfamiliar world. She awakens in Kamura, a secluded hunters' village where days are shaped by the whisper of bamboo, the steady rhythm of the forge, and the constant danger beyond the safe paths. Without her familiar weapon-and without a clear way back-Kairi must find her footing in a world she doesn't understand. Kamura becomes a place of rules, work, and first steps: a quiet beginning that gives her time to stand on solid ground again. This story is a fanfiction inspired by the worlds of Monster Hunter and Kingdom Hearts. It began as a personal writing project and is primarily a creative reimagining that weaves motifs and characters from both series into an original storyline. Since this is my first larger project of this kind, I ask for your patience with any small rough edges-feedback and suggestions are always welcome.
