There was loud ringing all around me, it filled my ears and my head. I couldn't move, my feet were frozen in place as I watched with blurry confusion and fear the chaos that surrounded me. Smoke, fire, screams, and blood filled my vision and ears, 'How had this happened?' Desmond lived a simple life with his handler and his family, it was the same thing every day but he never minded it. Wake up, got to work, maybe save some lives, then go home. However, this simple lifestyle quickly changed after one phone call and Desmond's life is no longer the same. Now he runs for his life and others lives in the hopes of keeping them alive. He runs every stretch of street and every alley and lane. All by himself. However, after running alone for so long, someone steps into his life unexpectedly and now he is at a crossroads; Run and keep running or stop and learn to stay Decisions need to be made and Desmond is running out of time to make them, can he save them all or will all the running for their survival be in vain?

Hero is no ordinary dog. He works for the U.S. army and stands guard sniffing bombs and land mines. He works during the night just in case someone tries to sneak in unsuspected. Hero has done some pretty good deeds in his past. But on one night, he messes up. BIG time. Now his owner is released from the army and safe at home, while Hero is bought to the pound. Can Hero make it back to his owner in time? or will he have to become euthanized?

Despite the fact she's a big tough German Shepherd, she has a soft heart, and accepts everyone. When she meets her new friends, she instantly helps them out, helping them with chores, hunting, protecting, and even watching for chewies, as she calls them. Maybe her having a big heart, isn't the best thing in this type of world, it may even get her killed. But, she decided, if she were to go down she'd go down fighting for the people who saved her.
