The Central Powers had been reformed, and significant technological advancements had been made that would forever change the world. However, just as a second world war was on the horizon, an enormous magical gate opened in Berlin. From this gate poured an army of armor-clad warriors and mythical monsters from another dimension, led by a man who proclaimed the creation of the "New Arthurian Province." Although the attack was successfully repelled, the gateway - dubbed the "Gate of Dimensions" - remained in Berlin. Fearing further assaults, the Kaiser mobilized a massive army composed of tanks, infantry, armored dogs, and supersoldiers to explore the other side of the gateway. What they discovered was a world filled with magic, abundant natural resources, and otherworldly forces.

Germany was a meanie and took Italy as a POW! (that's what they called it in Hetalia) Italy liked it, which made Germany angry. So the next morning, Germany grabbed Italy and took him to a totally mysterious and creepy, not boring and normal at all, building. Italy was taken into a small and dull, sterile looking gray room to 'wait around' for Germany and the new guy to meet eachother first. Of course, Italy doesn't have the patience to wait around!
