Him soon finding out Ludwig has been doing the same. It turning into a toxic relationship of mutual codependancey. They have to figure out, trying to differentiate from love, or a toxic combination at the wrong time.

I've seen most of the other stories like this but I feel like they just have one of the characters read a secret and they just move on without a reaction, or the story doesn't stick with the original plot, not saying they're bad, just not using the plot to the fullest.
