When Sophie enters Gethen's mind for some hardcore interrogation, she expects to uncover some shady secrets. Instead, she finds that the former Neverseen agent's actually a brilliant conversationalist. "What would you know about 'enough company? Sophie is trying to figure out how to wake Keefe. Little does she know she is playing right into the Neverseen's hands. Will Sophie be able to win the battle against the Neverseen or will the Neverseen score another win and leave Sophie in the dust? Freezing cold ripped out from her chest. Sophie strained against the arms pinning her down to the dirt. "No!" Sophie cried. She wasn't about to get put down by the Neverseen again. She needed to fight back. The black cloaked figures tossed her Cognate ring amongst them. "Fitz, please, I need you." she transmitted. The last thing she remembered was a raspy voice whispering in her ear. "Don't fight the sedatives." And she was out cold.

This is a fan fiction based on the series Keeper of the Lost Cities! It takes place when all the main characters are adults and now have kids! My story will zoom on one specific kid... Most characters belong to Shannon Messenger.

Sophie Foster has just started college when she meets Keefe Sencen. At first she's a bit amused by him, but she starts to grow on him. It's like she can't get away from him. He's everywhere, in her art class, at her volley ball practice, everywhere! But she can't get to close to him. She has secrets that she can't keep forever, and getting close to him will only make them harder to keep. Keefe Sencen knew he wanted to get to know the girl he saw dancing around, painting in her room the second he saw her through his window. And since his best friends sister was her roommate, teammate, and good friend, he did. He loved everything about her, her smile, the way her eyes would light up every time she laughed.
