Girls are more concerned with their looks than their degrees. College isn't like the movies. Nursing school is hard. Like REALLY HARD. Drugs and alcohol and sex are everywhere. People expect you to have a great social life, but not be obsessed with social media. They want you to be in every club, organization, frat, and work every job you can but somehow have time to explore yourself and your world. They want you to get some sleep but give you more to do than 24 hrs can handle. We want to see the world but the fear of some may things and ignorance makes people stay put.
