When Amelia Crowe, a burned-out hospice nurse haunted by the death of her mother, flees a storm on a lonely highway, she finds refuge in a desolate roadside motel. The clerk warns her not to answer if she hears voices but exhaustion drives her to accept the key to Room 313 anyway. Inside, the room smells of metal and lilies just like the hospice where her mother died. The wallpaper bulges. The mirror fogs though the air is cold. And when Amelia looks into it, her reflection smiles back with her mother's voice. As the night deepens, the motel begins to breathe around her. Memories twist into something living, and the walls whisper truths she's buried for years. What Amelia doesn't know is that Room 313 doesn't haunt people it listens. It feeds on regret, reshaping itself into the one thing its guests can't release. By morning, the room will be empty again. The bed made. The mirror clean except for a single handprint, pressed from the inside.

A tragic love story, to put in short. A girl. On the run with no where to go. She stumbles upon an abandoned ghost town, taking shelter in a haunted mansion. A ghost. Permanent host of said mansion. He takes notice to the seemingly ordinary girl with no apparent special qualities. Two different individuals, but two sides of the same coin. This is a story of pain, suffering, despair and desperation. Yet, this story is also of trust, understanding, compassion, and, of course, love. WARNING This story revolves around dark themes and subjects such as depression, abuse, suicide, and overall death. I do not romanticize these serious subjects. No one should ever romanticize death, it is a permanent solution to a temporary problem. If any of these subject matters rekindle something in you, dear reader, I suggest stop reading over all. The story will only get darker as the chapters go on. Also, if any one ever has the need to talk feel free to vent at me. I cannot guaranty any advice that a professional would give better, but what I CAN guaranty is my ears. And if things get too much please, confront a professionals help. Or don't.
