This is a new one-shot collection about Sam and Penny, who have grown old and are using their last days to reminisce about everything they've experienced since the children left home. It follows on from the story "The Jones Family - It's not that Easy" and will be structured in the same way: I'll upload chapters as they come to my mind, hopefully resulting in a completely story on it's own. I own no rights to the series or its characters, except for my own created characters, and I'm writing purely for fun. The same applies to the cover and any images used maybe.

Being petied

we are all cars running. the older we get the more things start to malfunction. but we keep going. and one day, we cannot fix us because time ran its course.

old memories are playing like a movie over and over into my head. try to relax, sit down and watch the rain fall from the skies into your skin. live today, live now and live for the moment.

Maurice's lease is almost up. Where will he go? Who will take him there? Who are these mysterious people in his house? This brief short story describes how suddenly life can change in late adulthood and the lives that are affected.

I originally had this published on Fanfiction.net and Archive of Our Own. but since I don't really write fanfiction anymore, I don't visit those accounts. but, I stumbled upon this story while scanning through my old files and I just had to republish it for you all.
