Alina is a 16-year-old girl who has just moved to Massachusetts because of her parent's divorce. Forced to leave her dad behind in Santa Monica, she has to find her way around her new high school with only her mom by her side. She will need to make new friendships and relationships to start to feel at home. Brian, who grew up in Massachusetts is the infamous rock & roll-loving, emo, loser. He has to try and get out of his comfort zone to make friends in this new school year.
