Annabel started out as a comment on another poet's work, and that poet suggest I post it; I did. Now, it has taken many forms and I thought it best to keep track of this evolution of a poem in one collection, I hope you enjoy it.

A collection of poems from the haiku, sonnet, and ghazal forms written for as a foolish quest to bleed randomness into meaning and back again, just like this description you are just reading. In other words, this anthology constitutes my exercise in emotional and psychological enrichment through poetry for the sake of both the self and the academy (all of the poems were written for a college course), and each composition is a singularity capsule with their particular, open-ended purposes without any interconnected meaning behind them.

The Melody of Memory: Poems Between Art and Nature is a complete 30-poem collection born from National Poetry Writing Month (NaPoWriMo), where each piece responds to prompts weaving together art and nature themes. This is a journey through the connections between what we create and the natural world that moves us. The Collection The opening poem, "Undomesticated Forms," introduces "biomorph"-organic, life-suggesting shapes in abstract art. Drawing from the CoBrA movement's resistance to capitalist art production, these poems explore how memory guides us through spaces where art meets nature. From the Getty Museum's Florentine Codex to the rhythms of rain and wind, the poems traverse where human artistry meets natural wonder. They remember. They celebrate. They connect. Love. A simple four letters word, is a very hard emotion. Once someone fell in love, it makes them yearn for it and their beloved. It was a story of two strangers, one who lost heart in the journey of the sufferings and the other who was late to the destination. It's not like those goodnight fairytale, it's a twisting bleeding love story that'll keep you hook up. A glanced, costed too much for her. And a retreat that made him lost something so delicately precious, that he never even noticed. ----------- Rafta Rafta woh mere jeene ka saman ho gye. Your Author, Dua♡

I came to resolve with myself to publish something on this platform so I decided on writing a little poetry.

Tasveer si ban gayi, har baat jo kahi gayi, Teri khamoshi bhi, ek ghazal likhi gayi. Nigaahon ke shor mein, ek dastaan chup thi, Dil ki mehfil mein, mohabbat si jagi gayi. Zulfon ki chhaon mein, chand bhi sharma gaya, Us raat ki baat se, roshni bhi behi gayi. I wrote these poems for my Introduction to Creative Writing class at New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, NM.
