He was covered in soot, his clothes were torn, and he seemed far more concerned about something he'd lost than the fact that he'd just crashed into a little girl's living room. Liv was supposed to be alone that night. She wasn't supposed to have visitors. And she certainly wasn't supposed to discover that her perfectly ordinary new house was not as ordinary as it looked. By morning, it wouldn't feel like a house anymore.

I'm going to write a quick story based on an outline I've written, but I'm not going to look back at it to refresh myself. I'm going to go off what's in my mind about it, and see what turns up. This will actually not be NSFW or for mature audiences, as I perceive it as being a story fit for younger persons. However there is spiritual and fantasy elements, so be wary if you're uncomfortable with friendly ghosts, and hinted disappearances of persons.

Following a strange encounter at a train station one day, a man decides to accompany a lost boy who is looking for his parents. The boy has no recollection of his name or how he got there and the only thing he knows is where to find his parents: at the circus.

I just want a writing exercise for practice, and I recently rewatched a really nostalgic movie called howl's moving castle, so I thought rewriting the movie based on the scenes would be a good exercise. all rights go to the original creators of the story and movie, nothing i write is original, simply an exercise. That said, i'm a pretty newbie writer, and would appreciate any constructive criticism very much. Thank you for reading my little exercise. I'll do more scenes when I'm free :)
