inspired by ghibli studios' "when marnie was there" by hayao miyazaki - maya hart, adopted at a young age, feels like life is pointless. no one loves her, not even herself. feeling like her 'family' doesn't love her, she was sent to her relatives' home in new york. one day, she discovers a house with a bay window. that was where she meets a girl who changed her life forever. what happens when that girl mysteriously disappears? maya finds out a secret that will reveal everything about her real family.

After her adventure with Baron, Muta, and Toto Haru finds herself thinking a lot about Baron and all of the adventures they had in their short amount of time being together. Just as she starts to think that her seeing Baron again was just a silly daydream, she gets summoned to their land once more! How will this story play out? WELP read and see for your self! This Story I've written is a continuation of the movie "The Cat Returns" for me this story ended a little abrupt so i decided to do a little continuation of it! Totoro is a 16 year old girl. She goes to a normal high school with all the other Ghibli studio characters. She became friends with No face from "spirited away" and Jiji from "Kiki's delivery service." They all encounter a portal and decide to go through it. But it leads them back into their original world. JIji becomes Kiki's cat, Totoro becomes another creature and No face becomes a spirit. Will they come back to the human "Ghibu" world?
