Ghostbird Stories

This is a fan fiction based on CL Stone's Ghost Bird Series, particularly her second book. This version is a take on how things would have gone if Sang didn't meet the boys before school started. PG-13 This was written by Katydids and she allowed me to post it here for you. It was one of her very first stories, but it has not been edited yet.

Cover by Macey_Mouse Sang is a human. Scratch that, she's a cat. She's an Academy bird? Maybe labels aren't her thing. Sang Sorenson is a shifter, a human who can shift into an animal at will. It's been her secret for years. She never had the best life, but when her mother found out, Sang found out just how cruel humans could be. The punishments were relentless, always for things she didn't do. Her mother's favorite was to strip her down naked, force her to shift, and lock her out of the house until it was time for school. Then, Sang would be let inside to get ready, go to school, come home and do some chores, possibly being punished, and then it was outside for the rest of the night/weekend. She was a 'creature from Hell,' as her atheist mother might say, an animal. And animals live outside. That doesn't make it any easier to survive out there, however. So when Sang gets stuck in a tree, and the boys come to the rescue, she's grateful for the 'friends.' She soaks up their attention and affection, quickly worming her way into their team- but as only a mere cat. They confide in her, love her as a pet, unaware of her true nature. They have no idea the kitten they love so much is really just a teenage girl. How long can she keep up the act? What happens when the boys find out? The Blackbourne team was injured in a mission. All of them suffered eye injuries that caused them all to go blind. In the hospital, they meet a girl who's voice is sweet and kind. The girl is a stranger who happened to stumble into their room by accident. Every day, she comes in and talks to them. Weeks pass, and every time they spend time together, the boys fall in love with her more and more. The boys receive their sight back after grueling months of medication, and they are excited to meet the girl they've never seen before but she doesn't come. Nor the next day or the next day. A week passes, and the boys become curious. Was she a figment of their mind? Who was she? They look on the cameras and see a small girl with blonde hair. She seems to know where the cameras are and is always able to keep her face hidden. Sang Sorenson grew up in Greece and used to be close friends with Silas Korba. But then one day he left with his friend and she never saw him again. At least until six years later, when she moves to Sunnyvale Court in South Carolina. But things can't be fixed with a simple "Hey, great to see you again." Sang has to learn to trust people, to believe that they really will be there, no matter what. She has to learn what a real family is all about. Then, who's Daphne?' ~~~ It's hard being a medium- and Sang Sorenson would know. Her childhood was full of creepy ghosts and abusive parents, along with a long dead grandma coming along for the ride. Once Sang turned 18, she fled her abusive household, moving across the country to the Pacific Northwest (with her dead Nana in tow), setting her sights on becoming a journalist. Now, she's 23, a recent graduate from college, living in Midnight, Washington, and she couldn't be happier... Until her house gets possessed by an evil entity. Once realizing she's way over her head, her best friend (and witch) Fiji puts her in touch with the Blackbourne Institute of the Paranormal, or BIP for short. What Sang is hoping for is a group of badass ghost hunters who will hopefully rid her house of all the evil ghosties (and hopefully leaving her Nana intact). What Sang gets instead is a group of nine, gorgeous and mysterious men and... love? This will be a mix of the Academy with the Black Tapes Podcast, Scooby Doo, Midnight, Texas, and a tad bit of the X-Files later on.

Sang finds out she's pregnant. She's so excited to tell the boys but quickly finds out it's worst than she can ever imagine . The boys are leaving her. What will happen to junior her three year old son when sang is servilely injured and put on life support. Will the boys take their son or will he become an orphan at the age of three. Cl stone owns characters but it's mine idea.

Sang Sorenson never asked to go to high school, but here she is. Well here I am. All I wanted to do was go to sleep in my warm blankets and my soft pillow, but instead I'm going to save the Blackbourne Toma team. I suppose I did offer to help, but that's beside the point. Little did I know that by saving them it will change my life forever. And to be honest I'm not so sure it was a good thing. I love the Academy but I'm not sure I could write full fanfic, so I'm going to try writing some one-shots! We'll see how this goes. I'd love to hear what you think and if I've done C. L.
