Nico di Angelo and Leo Valdez have hated each other ever since Leo "accidentally" revealed Nico's biggest secret to the entirety of Camp Half-Blood. Nico got revenge by destroying Leo's prized miniature model of Festus, and from that moment on, they have never been allowed in the same room. The insults cut deep, the arguments are explosive (sometimes literally) and everyone at camp knows better than to get involved. Except someone does. Now Nico and Leo are being forced together, and somewhere between all the yelling and fights, hate starts turning into something else entirely.

In one world being reborn is painless, eventless, simple. That's not this world. Au where the physician's cure has consequences, and Leo doesn't come back whole.

On a June night, 15-year-old Nico Di Angelo is approached by the god of doorways about a choice that could change everything. He will be able to see the outcome of both options, but in exchange he'll forget about the encounter.

Twice a year, omegas and alphas from high society have the chance to take the choosing of partners into their own hands, in a ball where everyone was to wear ribbons upon their scent glands, marking whether they're seeking, mated, promised, or simply unninterested. This year, Nico wears the blue reserved for seeking omegas over his neck, right where a mark will go if he finds a good match. (sorry abt the cover, I cannot draw)

This is just some Valdangelo/Leico/Ghostfire, whatever you wanna call it, moments. The story goes on into the later times of their lives also. Sorry if it's bad. Reviews are always lovely. Things get better in the later chapters, so be patient with me. Rated T for some kissing and tiny cussing.

Now, Leo must prepare for a new quest, lead by Hazel Levesque, as he keeps his sister safe at camp. Their journey to a new demigod encampment will be difficult, though when they arrive, they'll discover an entire new adventure waiting to be explored.
