One family goes on a road trip and they get more than they bargained for something follows them.

(REWRITING) Melinda Gordon, a compassionate medium, encounters the spirit of an 11-year-old girl named Lily. Lily is lost and confused, unable to move on due to unresolved issues from her life. Melinda, with her unique ability to communicate with the dead, gently guides Lily through her past, uncovering the truth behind her untimely death.
