His decimation of the Mongols had given the people hope, and the power she had cultivated from the negativity wrought by their invasion had begun to dwindle. So in a final attempt to save herself from annihilation, she used a great deal of her power to seal him away, locking him and his horse in a prison of time. While Jin and been sealed, her efforts were for naught, and the Ghosts ended her. But before she died, she offered the final fleeting spark of her power to someone in the living world. When Jin is freed centuries later, he is faced with an entirely new threat. Man-eating demons feeding on innocent people. This may not be the home he knew, but even still, he would always defend those who couldn't defend themselves. This is how demons learned to fear The Ghost. Japan's inhabitants are unaware that the country has a threat greater than villains. The Onibaba, Ayuna, has begun her raid upon the lands of Japan, draining the blood of every Japanese alive. Heroes and undead spirits of fallen Samurai warriors work together to protect their home and stop Ayuna before she can achieve her master plan, to take the world. Basically, I like the idea behind the multiplayer mode in ghost of Tsushima and like this guy's story telling (also he brings great wisdom since he shares the same voice acter as the best uncle, uncle Iroh from avatar) and it makes it seem like he can summon the Ghosts to help aid in the situations so why not make a story about what if a certain last master(s) happened to summon him to aid them in saving humanity.

After the defeat of Khotun Khan and The Eagle, the Ghost continues to hunt for the remaining Mongol force. While he picks off camp after Mongol camp, Jin ponders what the Ghost's purpose will be when there are no more invaders to fight. An encounter with a foreign trader who's more than meets the eye may help him decide. !!!CONTAINS SPOILERS!!!
