Task force 141 are assigned to take down and rescue civilians that have been kidnapped and trafficked in the awful world of human trafficking in some part of the USA. But the mission ends up being much, much worse. Not only being simple human trafficking...but worse. Civilians only being mere children....But, at the end, they end up taking back home a 10 year-old girl named Rachel. (Also TW: This has: SA,SH, sexual abuse, abuse, homophobia, and more) (I have not played MW2 cuz I literally can't xd. But my brother has played it so I know a couple of things here and there, but still, if I get somethin very wrong, tell me. But also know that this is my Au so personalities and backstories may not be the same and be completely different from the canon.)

Ghost is forced to reject and distance himself from Soap due to fraternizing rules, this results in Soap getting really upset and taking suicide missions, but somehow surviving them in hopes it would pull Ghost back to him, either through a promotion or sheer determination. - - - - - Chapters follow the song "Little Lion Man" by Mumford & Sons This is my first time actually trying to write something, please be patient with me. If you're wondering why Soap's "yous" switch between "ya" and "you," it's because I feel like he's more of a "ya" guy, but there's some situations/phrases where "ya" doesn't cut it and you have to use "you," y'know? A Ghoap fic (surprised you there, huh?) where Ghost is a depressed soldier, and he meets a sweet, kind God who tries to help him.

Every chapter can be read as an one shot unless stated differently at the start of a chapter. There is progression of feelings over the chapters. Ghost lost his childhood, he never got to be a kid and Soap does everything to give it back to him. Ghost never had the opportunity to play tag with his parents, the only tag he ever played was with the enemy that either wanted to kill him or the other way around. Ghost never got to build a pillow fort and lay on a soft blanket. Ghost never got to be childish or careless. Soap decided to change that. or Ghost finally experiences tenderness and fun.
