Two best friends, Jennifer and Kate, share a favorite candy- gumdrops. One day, Jennifer is forced to move to New York. Her best friend of the sends her a single gumdrop in the mail each week, and Jennifer never forgets her. Many years later, Jennifer decides to fly back to her hometown in California, hoping she will finally be reunited with her friend. Upon her return, she finds something tragic has happened.
