With her head bowed down, my heart sent sympathy and pity towards her. And it was weirdly fluttering at the sight- long hair blown by the wind, along with her long, thin and silky lilac dress and the nightlight illuminating her pale skin. If only it was just my first time seeing her, I would've thought of her as a gorgeous normal human being, which she is clearly not. There's just something in me that dragged my heart and soul towards this girl- or should I say ghost. Normally, people would do what she just said- scream, run and leave. My mind tells me to, but my heart overtook my senses as I slowly walked towards her, putting my hand carefully on her non-existent shoulder. Well I guess I'm not normal at all.

This is a copy of a book called ghostly and was written by a woman named 'Audrey Niffenegger'. The book is a collection of Ghost Stories, it is a vintage classics and one of my favourites. It's a big book so i will post a chapter one and a time :)

I can talk to ghosts. Not in the really weird ways, like with Ouija boards or conjuring spells. I can actually talk to them, and see them, like how I can talk to and see my friend Markus in the flesh who comes by once a day to see me in the mental institution my parents put me in. My friend Markus believed me when I first told him, treated it like it was a completely normal thing. My parents, not so much. It all started when my sister passed away when I was 10. She wasn't sick or anything, just a terrible accident that killed her on the way to the hospital. I've been here a rough 7 years and they only have one more before they have to let me go. I can still see and talk to ghosts like I've always been able to since I was 10. I hope they can't make them go away. Besides Markus, they're the only beings I can trust.
