The army unintentionally kidnaps Edd, Matt, and Tom too, thinking that they're still friends and they could use them as leverage against tord. Unknown to the others, this works. On Cybertron, the civil war is over. At least, that is what the new council preaches. Steel, a rookie first responder, is among many being trained to be the city of Iacon's so called "extra safety measure". Steel, a bot who's just been thrown into a mystery he thought to be a myth, doesn't believe for a second that the war is over. Sometimes, he wonders if it'll ever be over. ~~~~ This draft, for the most part, was done solo and over the course of three years. It was (in the Deutsch drafts) originally done from the perspective of one of the three pacifists, but after falling in love with writing the OC Steel, am completely rewriting a lot of it. The level of care I put into grammar and structure degrades over time. If it's choppy, I'm sorry, I tried to fix it as much as possible and will keep fixing it until it's perfectly imperfect, especially since this alternate universe is so messed up not even a metaphorical chiropractor could help it out. I've categorized this as general fiction, so I want to say that this is in fact based off of Transformers (specifically a post TFP alternate universe) so you don't get confused when new terminology gets thrown at you without a glossary to use. Updates are typically once a month or two... but it might be more like four with how bad I am at staying motivated. Update: my motivation is nonexistent. It's been well over a year since even touching this. You have been warned. Enjoy.
