I was scared. I was tired. I was dirty. I was little then, and I didn't know what happened. All I knew was that is was dark. So dark. Then the door opened and the light came in, and I wasn't scared anymore. Disclaimer: For the record, I didn't invent Ranger's Apprentice (even though I wish I did), John Flanagan did. I don't own any characters except for Amara, Ember, Hailey, and Jackson. (Okay, now we're done with this "don't-sue-me" crap.)

When the Mapletown band's C.I.A. is thrown into a world they've never been in, they are separated. Isack and Cora end up on a strange ship that Cora has only read of in stories, The Heron. Austin, on the other hand, is found by the Araluen Ranger Gilan and accepted as an apprentice. These friends always worked together the best, and will they meet up at all during their adventures in this world?

Will Treaty's training had been going well. Halt hadn't made too many sarcastic comments, they had stopped a group of bandits the previous week, and he was learning and improving quickly. One day, Will spots a girl in the village, but she seems....different. Determined to figure out more about her, Will searches for answers but that causes more trouble with Halt, his training, and much more. *I only created the mystery girl, all others belong to John Flanagan, the author of RA.*

Elroy, an alchemist only in name, snake-oil medicine man by trade, has been released from his time in jail and is ready to move on. To paying Halt back, that is. She has a loving family and a bunch of great friends, but she throws that all away when she decides to leave home. She heads to the Meric Fiefdom and goes to live there under her aunt. She soon meets an uncanny woman who takes her back home. After staying with the woman for some time, she becomes apprenticed to her.
