She now realized that it wasn't quite what she dreamed it would be. It felt as though someone had tore out her heart and shoved it back into her chest. The months leading up to this had been exquisite, divine, and simply extraordinary. She wouldn't have traded them for the world. But now, she wanted to take it all back. She never wanted to love again. She could never love him again. He had left her without warning, and she had no clue when he would be back.
