This fanfiction takes place in the early 1970s, just as Pink Floyd rises to international fame. But behind the band, is the life that Emma and David have together. This story is written in Emma's perspective as you get to see how everything unfolds between the two of them. Heartfelt and also heartbreaking, this is the journey of Emma Hale and David Gilmour. It took me nearly 4 months to write this fanfiction, and it comes to 40 chapters in total! The tour dates and events are as accurate as possible- but it is just a fanfic so most of what I write about never really happened. "Come on Lij we have to get going before we're late again!!" Missy yelled. The names Lij full name Elijah Rain Gilmour I'm 18 I recently just turned 18. I love my fans so much they support me through everything and are always there for me. I love what I do and I want to do it forever if I can. "Leah hurry ya butt down here your going to be late for school if you don't hurry up," my mum yelled. Hi my names Leah I'm 17 and I live in Brisbane Australia, I absolutely love Lij Gilmour he means more to me then life and I seriously have no idea where I would be without him. I have literally watched every video of Lij singing and I have liked and retweeted every photo. Lij has posted on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. So ever since I was 14 I self harmed but up until recently I haven't why because Lij has helped me with it and I appreciate it a lot. We always talk on Facebook and I tweet him literally every day. He always answers me and people always hate on me for it (A/N this isn't true ALL Lij's fans love each other and they respect each other) but today, today felt different today I felt like a new me and I felt like something special was going to happen. That day changed Lij and Leah's lives forever not only did they meet new people but they met the person they always seemed to talk to most on Social Networking ( A/n: yes I used social networking). Follow as Leah finds herself and who she wants to be and Lij finds who he really wants to be as a musician.

To think matters couldn't get any worse, Halley's ex boyfriend Peter, who is 6 years older than her comes back into her life causing her depression to get even worse, Lij was having a Picnic gig in Melbourne on the same day, and he followed her on the train too the gig where he gets violent. Lij watches from afar, does Lij do anything? Does Lij become Halley's hero shes been in need of for so long? Will Peter finally leave Halley and her family alone?
