In the human-populated land of Gilneas, a new threat is approaching. Cursed beasts, half man, half wolf, rampage across the city and the surrounding country. Herana Juleson is a Gilnean adolescent whose taking refuge with relatives in Lordaeron. Her father and brothers have been imprisoned due to their engagement with the Northgate Rebellion, leaving her and her mother with no support. During their time with the Keywald family, they soon begin to realize the impending doom leading to their way. The rumors that swept across the small village of Evermill leaves them only praying for a miracle. Herana will soon come face to face with mindless monsters who eat flesh and there's no escape.

Skye, a young Gilnean woman, and her family have lived in Gilneas all their lives. After the Second War, the human Kingdom of Gilneas closed its gates off from the rest of the Alliance. Skye and her family find themselves trapped within their own kingdom, and unrest soon arises not just with her own family, but also inside the kingdom itself. Conflicts are made even worse when the Forsaken attack...as do the worgen...
