This is a story for people who are not pleased with how Ricky & Gina (Rina) was made into a couple in season 3 of "High School Musical: The Musical: The Series," and is an alternative way of the writing of season 2-3-4. The big plot points are mostly the same, but heart-to-heart moments are put to be more emotional, and character developments are made more smoothly and over time, rather than Ricky starting to crush on Gina suddenly, and Gina always being the one coming forward with her feelings. Oh, and in this version, Ricky doesn't date Lily. It starts with the end of season 2 and goes until the end of season 3. I've written s4 a little but I don't know when I can go on.

After appearing in court a dozen times and seeing her story on live television, Juliette is praying that because she's a minor, no one will ever figure out it was her that was the "Seventeen Year Old Sleeper". That's the dreadfully awful nickname the news came up with after hearing her story. Coming back to school the day after the winter break, it seems as if no one knows, and she's happy about that. Now, with the announcement that East High is doing Beauty and the Beast, her all-time favorite musical, Juliette is conflicted on whether to do the musical or not, since her plan was to write songs the rest of the year and not bother with involving herself in theatre at East High. Especially with Zachary Roy's offer for her to be in their production instead. Should she follow her heart or the status quo?

Ricky Bowen is a semi-regular teen jock at East High School hiding a big secret: After being bitten by a radioactive spider in his freshman year, he has been saving the world as Spider-Man and has been able to balance that out with his learning and athletics for over three years. That is, until his senior year when he learns that a new threat has come to invade Salt Lake City. With Ricky always having to run off and fight the mysterious threat, it is his job to not only save his high school friends, but his environment as Spider-Man. Ricky's senior year is turned upside down in other ways when Gina Porter transfers to East High. After learning Gina's boyfriend, E.J. Caswell, goes to the school Ricky competes against, he is filled with distraught as he continuously works out how to love and fight, and how to be brave while also (hopefully) making a home in Gina's heart.
