Nahida, or Lesser Lord Kusanali is trapped by her own citizens as they don't think she's worthy enough to be the new Dendro Archon. She's stuck in a cage inside the Akademiya when suddenly, her subconscious washes over and she's no longer in control. Now, a Cookie from another world has took her over for who knows why. It's up to GingerBright and Nahida to find a way to separate then get home.

A duo of cookies consisting of Gingerbrave & Gingerbright had escaped the Witch's House, far away from their duties that they took up in order for their lives to be spared. Running deep into a darkened but soothing forest known as the Forest of Butterflies and into the given area called the Shimmering Ocean Village, Gingerbrave and Gingerbright were found and taken in by the Goddess Sea Fairy Kimura. During their stay in the village, and learning more about the world of Earthbread and its inhabitants, the Ovenbreak Duo soon embark on an adventure to help the cookies and defeat Dark Enchantress Cookie. Joining them were from the likes of Wizard Ouma the tsundere magician who used to be in a yakuza and the first cookie to escape the Witch's House, Cherry Bomb Futaba the playfully excited bomber who sought for adventure after living through the same routine, and Herb Kimura the young god of nature in training and cherished son of Sea Fairy. Newly formed as Team Friendship & Dough, meeting new friends, making great allies, and conquering devastating foes, now working together to help all of Earthbread!

A couple months ago, a thought came to my mind, "What if GingerBrave and friends never saved Strawberry Cookie from Strawberry Crepe Cookie?". So that's what got this AU going. I know GingerBright isn't in CRK but I wanted her to be the main character- Just so you know, this takes place 4 years after Strawberry got basically kidnapped so all the characters are older than their game counter parts!
