Hira goes to visit Shrek, Fiona and Donkey she takes Hiroko with her, as she has never met them before, the visit was short but when they are all invited to a royal ball to celebrate Fiona's rescue at the kingdom of Far Far Away, unfortunately when they got there (it was a very long trip to get there), King Harold (Fiona's father) does not like Shrek one bit, but Queen Lillian (Fiona's mother) doesn't mind that Shrek was not Prince Charming, they also met the other royal families including the Ryder family who rule a kingdom known as the kingdom of Rydeen, after a disaster dinner the gang met The Fairy Godmother who also didn't like Shrek one bit. Gingy and Donkey try to stop him, warning of Shrek's possessiveness and the Three Blind Mice guarding the stash. A fierce duel ensues, ending when Gingy sedates Thelonious. After waking up, Thelonious continues to the swamp, finding Shrek too intoxicated to function while Donkey and Gingy search Shrek's house for the elusive pixie dust.
