Mayu were also Yoshida Shoyo student and she was Gintoki's childhood friend. but after the Joui war she ran away and traveled throughout Japan. after 10 years she decided to return to Edo to drink in some bar but then she meets again her childhood friend and learn that he changed a lot from the last time she saw him and more thing, her feelings to him became more stronger. *I didn't thought about when this fanfic take place in the plot but maybe before the Shogun assassination arc... *I don't own Gintama or the characters. Hiatus~ In the peaceful, yet somewhat bizarre, city of England lies the house of Gintoki, Shinpachi and Otsuu. After Gintoki's workplace is closed for weeks, he finds himself forced to spend time with his housemates. Shinpachi, a NEET who wears glasses and the straight man of the group. Otsuu, a singer but now a university student, watches anime all day. Gintoki's run-in with the police sparks an old mystery and as Gintoki adapts to his new lifestyle, a bigger plot is slowly unravelled and he is the centre of it. Filled with tongue-in-cheek comedy and shameless references, Gintaman follows Gintoki and the gang as they just try to live their normal adult lives!

In this story, the Odd Jobs, the Shinsengumi and other Gintama characters are teleported. Until they find a way back, they have to make a living and not kill each other. Gintoki and Hijitkata have the most difficulty with this. They still can't stand the other, but they have to work together if they want to get back home.

Even though these two sides fought for centuries, in the Taisho Era, there is one thing that they do share. Both sides call this individual by the same name.
